Toot on 2025-06-29

This is a sub toot - if that’s a thing. I just don’t get why we as people don’t lean into kindness and respect. When people call out something we did that was intentionally (or unintentionally) malicious or signaling harm or disrespecting people why wouldnt we go out of your way to fix it? Like, how hard - really is it to say “oh I’m sorry I didn’t realize that I’ll take care of it as soon as I can!” I’ve done it - it took all of 10 seconds to say and maybe 10 minutes to follow through and I appreciate even more the dude who spoke up so I could course correct. Human decency doesn’t cost anything but a little time and humility and it gains us such a better world. (Sorry not sorry about the markdown. It’s how I think and I’m in raw mode.)
